Honors Program

The Honors Program offers seniors the opportunity to pursue a year-long study of special interest under the personal guidance of a faculty member who serves as the Honors Project Advisor. While Honors students usually choose a topic in their major, they may select another academic area or even a combination of areas.

The Center for Career and Civic Engagement is happy to assist in the development of your resumé, cover letter, and other career-related documents for interviews and career fairs. They’ll even help you build out your LinkedIn profile and practice interviewing techniques with you.

Career Readiness Digital Badges

Now, you should have earned 300 points to complete all eight badges by the end of your fourth year! When you successfully complete your Elevate experience, you’ll be eligible to receive distinguished cords to wear at commencement and gain recognition at an additional end-of-the-year ceremony for all of your hard work. 

When graduation arrives, you’ll be well equipped to begin your career or continue your education in a graduate program. We’ll even help you articulate your educational experience on your resumé with your earned Career Readiness Digital Badges.

Our Career Promise

Completing all eight badges before graduation and meeting the 2.70 GPA expectation will make you eligible for É«ÖÐɫ’s Career Promise. That means if you’re not employed or enrolled in graduate school within one year of graduating from É«ÖÐÉ« University, you’ll qualify for financial support to assist with paying your student loans, and free enrollment in select undergraduate or graduate courses.
