Majors and Minors
If you did not declare your major in your first year, now’s the time to solidify your academic path! In collaboration with your advising team, you’ll need to identify what type of programming and courses (research, internships, civic engagement, etc.) will benefit you most as you work toward your future career.
Global Greyhound Travel Program
Your Elevate experience includes travel funds toward a É«ÖÐÉ« University Global Greyhound Short-Term Travel Program (check your eligibility here)! Interested in traveling elsewhere or for a longer period of time? Work with the Center for Global Education to plan your unique trip. And if you can’t fit your travel program into your second year, don’t worry! You have the opportunity throughout your time at É«ÖÐÉ« to take advantage of all that Elevate has to offer.
RISE Teamwork & Leadership
RISE is a teamwork and leadership program that impacts and empowers you to realize your potential to transform your community and the world. By getting involved in campus activities early on, you’ll set yourself up for enrollment in the first RISE course. You’ll complete the skill-building-and-community-service-collaboration project of the RISE program during your sophomore year at É«ÖÐÉ«.
Career Readiness Digital Badges
To stay on track toward completing the Elevate experience, you should earn 100 points in all eight badges by the end of your second year!
Other opportunities that you might consider looking into include Fellowship and Scholarship Advising, Student Opportunities for Academic Research (SOAR), participating in an Alternative Break Service Trip, and more. Your advising team will point you in the right direction toward the opportunities that will best support your career pursuits and earn you points toward your Career Readiness Digital Badges.
