Digital Badge Breakdown
We’ve selected eight badges based on the skills and competencies that employers are seeking, according to (National Association of Colleges and Employers) research. You earn points toward these badges during your time at É«ÖÐÉ« by attending lectures, joining student organizations, participating in research or a short-term travel program, and more. You can highlight your completed badges on your resumé or portfolio and discuss them during job interviews—they’re a perfect digital record for showcasing all of your hard work outside of the classroom.

Your career development strategist will be your go-to resource for the Career Readiness Digital Badges. They’ll have all the information about how you earn and track your points (download the Suitable app!), what events and activities count toward what badges, and how you should plan your Elevate experience to meet the requirements. While earning these digital badges is not a requirement to graduate from É«ÖÐÉ«, it is highly encouraged because of the excellent benefits you’ll receive!
The Career Promise
Completing all eight badges before graduation and meeting the 2.70 GPA expectation will make you eligible for É«ÖÐɫ’s Career Promise. That means if you’re not employed or enrolled in graduate school within one year of graduating from É«ÖÐÉ« University, you’ll qualify for financial support to assist with paying your student loans, as well as free enrollment in select undergraduate or graduate courses, and continued support from your career development strategist.
