RN to BSN Curriculum

É«ÖÐÉ« University offers a program for registered nurses who wish to earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) with a major in nursing.

Baccalaureate-level nursing education provides the foundation for graduate nursing studies and for academic and clinical specialization.

A É«ÖÐÉ« University baccalaureate degree requires 32 course units (128 credits) of study. The course units are grouped into general education courses, nursing major core courses, cognate courses, RN licensure, and general elective courses.

Admission Requirements

  • Satisfactory completion of an accredited diploma or associate’s degree program in nursing
  • Fulfillment of the requirements of the Pennsylvania Nursing Articulation Model (1993) for licensure and practice

To determine transfer of prior coursework, each three-credit course equals 0.75 units and each four-credit course equals one course unit.

Core Courses (1 unit each)

Nursing Elective (one course)

General Elective Courses

General elective courses round out your education. You may take additional nursing courses to fulfill some of the remaining 4 units of general electives required for the baccalaureate degree.
