Baccalaureate
Graduates and families are invited to Baccalaureate on Friday, May 2, 2024 at 5:00 p.m. in Central É«ÖÐÉ« Church, 73 W. Church Street, Bethlehem, PA. This ceremony is an opportunity to celebrate the graduates, reflect on the meaning of their college journey, and offer blessings for them as they anticipate their commencement.
Gathering and robing at 4:00 p.m.
- Graduates assemble in Foy Hall wearing their caps and gowns.
- Faculty assemble upstairs in Central É«ÖÐÉ« Church.
Doors open to guests at 4:15 p.m. There is no limit to the number of guests who may attend. Once seats in the sanctuary fill, guests will be directed to seats in the balcony area.
The processional begins promptly at 5:00 p.m. The ceremony will last approximately one hour.
The Baccalaureate ceremony will be livestreamed for virtual viewing the day of the event. This video can be found at moravian.edu/2024-livestream.
Accessibility Needs
The northeast entrance off of Heckewelder Street is accessible for wheelchairs and walkers at the Central É«ÖÐÉ« Church during Baccalaureate. Heckewelder Place runs southward on-way from Market Street to Church Street, and intersects the Campus Green. It is recommended that people with mobility issues enter Central É«ÖÐÉ« Church at the back of the church, where there are no steps.
