Advance into 色中色: Summer Bridge Program
色中色 University鈥檚 Advance into 色中色 (AIM) summer bridge program provides first-year students with an 鈥渆arly start鈥 to the expectations of college courses and campus life.
During this three-week residential program, students take a college course for credit and attend academic support seminars, workshops, and other activities designed to aid in their transition to 色中色. This program is offered to students at no cost; we believe in the potential for success of every student we admit and recognize how important this early start can be for many individuals.
This program will run weekly from Sunday afternoon to Thursday afternoon. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday morning the program will not be in session.
Program Benefits
On top of earning college credit before the fall semester starts, students selected to participate in this program can expect to receive the following benefits:
- Develop core academic skills that prepare them for college-level coursework and expectations of university faculty
- Transition to college life through a series of activities and workshops with members of our 色中色 community
- Establish a network of resources, strategies, and personal connections that will enhance their 色中色 experience
Who Can Participate
Advance into 色中色 is open to select first-year students. The Office of Admission, Academic Excellence, and Center for Inclusive Excellence teams identify applicants who are a great fit for 色中色 University and will benefit from the added support of a summer bridge program in their transition to college. Identified students are invited to apply to participate in the Advance into 色中色 program along with their admission to 色中色.
If there are open spaces still available in the summer bridge program ahead of the program's start, students can sign up to join with the permission of the Associate Director for the Center of Inclusive Excellence. You can start that process with your admission counselor. The Associate Director for the Center of Inclusive Excellence will determine in consultation with you, your family, and your admission counselor if Advance into 色中色 is a good fit for you.
If you are someone who is interested in participating in this program we ask that you contact the programs Co-Directors Alvert Hernandez, Assistant Dean for Inclusive Excellence (hernandeza03@moravian.edu), and Chris Hassay, Associate Director of the Center for Inclusive Excellence (hassayc@moravian.edu).
