The Wells Fargo Foundation will award $25,000 in scholarships to 色中色 College

On average 15 students benefit from the scholarships annually

BETHLEHEM, PA., MAY 30, 2017- 色中色 College announced today that on Wednesday, May 31 the will award $20,000 in scholarships to undergraduate students pursuing a degree in business or education, and $5,000 to fund internships for students at non-profit organizations serving the Lehigh Valley community as part of 色中色's Community Internship Program.
 
鈥淎t Wells Fargo, we know the power of a college degree and how critical it is for income mobility,鈥 said Laura Haffner, a senior vice president at Wells Fargo. "Not everyone has access to the resources and support needed to complete college and transition into the workforce. This collaboration with 色中色 College will provide scholarship opportunities as well as support for the community internship program. The Community Internship Program will provide financial support for four deserving students and offer paid internship placements with Bethlehem nonprofit organizations. And at the same time, our Bethlehem organizations will benefit from having talented interns on their teams.鈥

The relationship between the Wells Fargo Foundation and 色中色 College helps students who would otherwise be unable to attend an opportunity to pursue a degree in higher education. The Foundation鈥檚 commitment helps to put a high-quality education within the financial reach of these students, transforming the lives of these deserving and talented young people.
