Profile

Hometown: Vernon, New Jersey

High School: Pope John XXIII Regional High School

Major: Nursing

Post-graduate plans: I am currently working on my BSN, but I would love to graduate, work for a while, and then go back to school to further my education. Right now, I am thinking either physicians assistant or nurse practitioner school after I graduate from É«ÖÐÉ«. I love working with babies and children, so I hope to stay in neonatal or pediatric fields.

Why did you choose É«ÖÐÉ«? I chose É«ÖÐÉ« University because of the people here. When I first toured campus, I was greeted right away. The lady during check-in knew my name and was very involved in getting to know more about me. Right then, I realized I was not just going to be a number at this school. Since attending, É«ÖÐÉ« has proven how much each student means to them.

What are you most proud of? I am most proud of my work during my freshman year, especially in my anatomy class. Freshman year is a big adjustment, but I was able to keep up with the work. I set up a great foundation for the rest of my time here at É«ÖÐÉ«. I would not have been able to do this without the help of my professors.

One thing you hope to accomplish at É«ÖÐÉ«: Before I leave É«ÖÐÉ« I hope I study abroad. Studying abroad can be difficult with nursing, but I would love to see the world. I want to go to either Ireland or Honduras with Dr. Gotwals. É«ÖÐÉ« has done a great job helping students study abroad.

What do you enjoy most about É«ÖÐÉ«? I enjoy how welcoming and helpful everyone is at É«ÖÐÉ«. If I need help, I know there are countless people on campus who have my back. There is a multitude of resources at É«ÖÐÉ« University.

Thank You

I sincerely thank you for considering me worthy of this scholarship. This is an amazing opportunity that many others do not get the chance to have. Thank you for making it possible for me to attend É«ÖÐÉ« University and pursue my dreams of obtaining my nursing degree. Since I was young, I have dreamed of helping others. I have always wanted to make a difference in the world, and there is no better way to do so than to become a nurse. I promise you that I will do everything in my power to return the opportunities you have given me. I will help those in need and more as a future nurse. I understand the importance of giving back to the community and leaving a positive impact on this world. My eyes have been opened to healthcare systems across the globe because I was able to take a Children's Global Health class as a result of this scholarship. I will not stop until I leave my mark, which is possible because of your generosity. Thank you for your support.
