Changes in your dependent status may require some updates to your employee record and benefits.
Federal Taxes - You may want to amend your Federal Withholding status. You can do so through our employee self service system. A how-to is located at the same link.
Life Insurance - If you are enrolled in this benefit, you may want to update your beneficiary information.
Flex Accounts, Health, Dental, or Vision Plans – A new dependent is a qualifying life status change and allows you to add your dependent or change your enrollment in these plans. .
Requirements for health insurance (once received):
- Social security number - just the number is fine, please give HR a call
