“In reaction to world events, the InFocus Town Hall for 2020 will take place online, and our faculty and staff have answered the call exceptionally well,” said Kelly Denton-Borhaug, InFocus Executive Director. “We’re very excited because the Town Hall format builds bridges between the college and the wider community regarding multidisciplinary research and global awareness, and civic engagement about action and advocacy. This year’s event showcases the research of 215 students. Our 30 participating community experts include people from city government, non-profits, healthcare, the legal system, sustainable growth, and more.”
The town hall format allows ɫɫ students to come together and share their research and to hear and learn from one another, together with ɫɫ faculty as well as expert consultants from the community. The InFocus Town Hall is part of the commitment of ɫɫ College to build knowledge we need to address urgent challenges facing all human beings and the planet.
