Matthew Stone was on a team that won an R&D 100 award in 2023 for their work on 3D-printed neutron collimators.

 Mary Kate Andris, Ed.D. recently joined CIVIC Leadership Institute as their President and Chief Executive Officer. Dr. Andris is a member of the Institute's Class of 2018 and is the first graduate to be tapped to lead CIVIC!

Ann Rissmiller Flood is vying for the 138th House district seat in Harrisburg. She won the Republican primary election with unofficial results giving her about 55% of the vote. She will face Democrat Tara Zrinski in November. Ann is the founder and president of Lauren's Hope Foundation, a nonprofit that helps families with children who have brain injuries.

É«ÖÐÉ« University golf coach Kevin Edwards has received the Golf Coaches Association of America Service Award for 10 years of service at É«ÖÐÉ«. Kevin completed his 10th year as the head coach of the É«ÖÐÉ« golf team in 2019-20. He was named the Empire 8 Conference Coach of the Year in 2014-15 and 2016-17. He was a member of the 1994 undefeated MAC Championship team and earned All-MAC honors in 1994 and 1996. Kevin is the PGA director of golf at Olde Homestead Golf Club in New Tripoli. He served as the men’s golf coach at Muhlenberg for two seasons and led the 2004 team to a Centennial Conference title. He was selected to the Lehigh Valley Golf Hall of Fame in 2017.

 The Garfield Center for the Arts’ summer camp, MUSICmakers, is led by Jodi Vickers Bortz. Registration begins March 9. The musician, artist, and teacher has spent her life working in many facets of the creative arts. After graduating from É«ÖÐÉ«, she continued as adjunct faculty helping to set up the Suzuki School of the É«ÖÐÉ« University Music Institute. She worked with young musicians and behind the scenes in student musical theatre productions. Currently, she teaches private music lessons, conducts the Centreville UMU choir, runs Blue Canary Letterpress, and works with Main Street Chestertown.
